Chasing gemstones

Does not matter what precious metal our jewelery is made of, with gemstone decoration we can make it even more unique. There are several booking techniques to choose from, here are a few procedures for diamond jewelry:

-  Prong: the diamond is held by the small prongs at its widest part, leaving the whole stone visible. A popular technique for solitaire diamond engagement rings, when only one larger diamond adorns the engagement ring.

-  Invisible: the part around the socket is shaped in such a way, that it optically magnifies the gemstone.

-  Halo: given a central diamond, usually larger in size, surrounded by smaller diamonds or other gemstones.

-  Channel: Mostly used for baguette-cut stones, where stones are inserted into the hollow running along the center of the ring, with tiny claws between them.

When ordering or choosing a gemstone or diamond ring, the future use of the jewelry must determine the booking technique.
